+ Begin by signing yourself with the cross three times. Then do three prostrations:
The first prostration is to God the Father, the Almighty, who has authority over our lives.
The second prostration is to God the Son, Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and the Redeemer of our souls.
The third prostration is to God the Holy Spirit, the Giver of life, who guides us into all truth.
Then pray Psalm 50: “Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy…”

+ Readings from the Holy Bible, with prostrations if possible:
God commands us to pray day and night continually.
Luke 18: 1-9
1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, 2 saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ 4 And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, 5 yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’ ”
6 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. 7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? 8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
Isaiah 62:6–7
“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; they shall never be silent day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.”
Lamentations 2:19
“Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches; pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift your hands to Him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street.”

+ Reading with prayer and supplication for every soul that chooses death instead of life:
Deuteronomy 30:19
“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”
2 Timothy 1:9–10
“Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”

+ Reading with prayer and supplication for every soul that feels failure, despair, and fear:
2 Timothy 1:7
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
1 John 4:18–19
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But the one who fears has not been perfected in love. We love Him because He first loved us.”

+ Reading with prayer and supplication for every soul that is bound and has become captive under the authority of the devil:
Hebrews 2:14–15
“Since the children have shared in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death—that is, the devil—and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.”
John 10:10
“The thief does not come except to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
